Built in abandoned buildings, [ruin bars](https://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/the-ruin-bars-of-budapest/) feature funky art installations, repurposed furniture, and quirky decor. They are amazing, fun, and great places to meet locals, as people of all ages flock here. - Note: These ruin bars sound awesome! --- **Get a city tourist card** – Many local tourism offices sell a tourism card for all their attractions, tours, and restaurants. This card gives you free entry and substantial discounts on all the attractions and tours in a city, free local public transportation (a huge plus), and discounts at a few restaurants and shopping malls. They save a ton of money. If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing, get one of these cards. - Note: I'll have to look into this for Rome, Florence, etc. ---
