## Enhancement Mode Devices

Dotted line: Non-formed channel at zero gate source
Insulation from gate: looks like a capacitor.
Symmetrical -

People usually can't be bothered with the dotted lines.

Almost always know where the bulk is connected - just clutters the schematic.
Not clear if n or p-type

"Digital" device schematic:

Analogue:
Slightly misleading as assymetrical (but okay because we normally have the source at the same end) - looks like BJT. Easier to understand circuits.

Might add a bulk terminal - when you need a special case for the node not connected normally.

## Special Transistors
Low threshold or depletion device - common to draw it like this:

Thick channel - special device (can be used for any symbol)
Or higher voltage on drain/source:

Non-standard, but read in the context of the design.
