- Provide necessary tools and resources

- Effective when team is more knowledgable than leader
## Benefits
- Empowering
- Encourages innovation
- Team learns to manage itself
## Drawbacks
- Can be confusing/chaotic
- Accountability for mistakes fall to the leader
- Would not be useful in emergency crisis situation.
